About Gotlandstoner

Gotlandstoner is a collection of 727 fiddle tunes and songs from Gotland, Sweden, transcribed in the late 19th century by August Fredin (1853—1946). It was first published between 1909 and 1932.

Gotlandstoner was digitalised to abc by Erik Ronström and Clara Andermo, and it is that version that is available on this site. The digitalisation has also been used to produce a new printed edition, which was published in 2017.
